Where Problem Solving Meets Web Design
My name is Eddie, and I'm the founder and lead developer behind Bay
Breeze Web Studio. I didn't take the traditional path to web
development, and honestly, that's probably worked in my favor.
I started coding young with help from a front-end mentor who taught me something
crucial: great websites don't just look good, they solve real business problems.
But before committing to development full-time, I spent years working in the
HVAC industry throughout Tampa Bay. That experience shaped how I approach
web design today in ways I never expected.
In HVAC, you learn systems thinking. You learn that every component affects
the whole system. You learn that cutting corners on the installation leads
to callbacks, unhappy customers, and wasted time fixing what should have been
done right the first time. You learn to communicate clearly with people who
don't speak your technical language, explaining complex problems in ways that
make sense.
Most importantly, you learn that doing the job right from the start saves
everyone time, money, and frustration down the road.
When I transitioned back to web development full-time, I kept seeing the same
frustrating pattern everywhere: businesses settling for template sites and
AI-generated code that looked acceptable on the surface but failed where it
actually mattered. Slow load times that drove visitors away. Poor mobile experiences
that frustrated potential customers. Invisible to search engines when local
customers were actively looking. Generic designs that did nothing to build
trust or convert visitors.
I started Bay Breeze Web Studio to do it differently. Every website is custom-coded
by hand. Every project gets the attention it deserves. Every client gets clear
communication, honest pricing, and a website that actually works for their
business, not against it.

Wix and similar builders are easy to start with, the same way fast food is easy. Quick, cheap, and convenient. But just like fast food, the long-term results aren't great for your health, or in this case, your business.
Template builders give you limited control over technical SEO, slower load times, restricted customization, and generic designs that look like everyone else. If you just need "a site to have a site," they work fine.
But if you care about ranking on Google, converting visitors into customers, standing out from competitors, and having a website that grows with your business, custom code is the better choice. Bay Breeze takes the professional chef approach. We build exactly what your Tampa Bay business needs, optimized for performance and results. -
A completely custom, hand-coded website built specifically for your business. Every single page on this site was hand-coded by me, including the sentence you're reading right now. That level of attention and care goes into your project too.
No templates or AI-generated code. Optimized code is always used and written to make your site fast, accessible, and effective. -
Absolutely. Template builders let you launch quickly, but you sacrifice performance, SEO capability, and flexibility. With builders like Wix or Squarespace, you get limited access to technical SEO, slower load times due to bloated code, restricted customization options, and lighter analytics and tracking.
Custom-coded websites give you complete control over speed optimization, full technical SEO implementation, unlimited design flexibility, better security, and scalability as your business grows.
If you want organic growth, strong search rankings, and a website that actually converts visitors, custom code is the clear winner. -
